Fujifilm 16-55mm f2.8 XF R - The one you've been waiting for

Users of the Fujifilm X-Series have been calling for a high-quality prime lens with a constant aperture to equal those offered by both other DSLR users and CSC users.
And finally, Fujifilm have answered that call. Well, they haven’t just answered it, they’ve shouted it.
A sneak peak at the Photokina Show in 2014 finally showed us what to expect, and now its finally been annouced. Stunningly constructed, but designed for heavy usage, this is the flagship lens that X-Series users have been waiting for.
The build quality of this lens stands proud within the weather resistant XF lens series and also boasts a ne coating technology that massively reduces ghosting or flare when used in extreme cirmcunstances.
Despite it being classed as a standard zoom, this is anything but. Finally, and to meet the quality of the 40-150mm f2.8, this lens offers users a zoom range with a constant aperture that will soon take its place amongst other similar lenses such as the Canon and Nikon 24-70mm f2.8.
A Linear Motor has also been included to make focusing smoother and quieter – an ideal feature for those capturing high speed events.
Due to arrive in February, if you pre-order now, we’ll send you a FREE Hoya HD UV filter worth £59.
