SF-G series TOUGH specification cards are designed for dependability. The one-piece moulding body with high hardness materials is 18 times more bend resistant than the SD standard, impact-resistant for drops up to 5 m and highest level dustproof and waterproof (IP68).

With up to 300 MB/s read speed, you can transfer large files such as 4K video or a bunch of high-resolution images to a PC in seconds. Less time waiting, more time doing.

In addition to top rating dust and waterproofing, TOUGH specification cards are resistant to X-rays (ISO7816-1), magnetic fields, UV, and temperature extremes. All while retaining broad compatibility with cameras and other SD card readers.

The fully-sealed one-piece moulding meets the highest specifications for both waterproofing and dust proofing. With an IP68 rating, the SF-G series TOUGH specification cards can withstand fine dust, mud, grime and immersion in 5m of water for up to 72 hours.

With its ribless design that has no write-protect switch, Sony has removed easy-to-break parts to enhance reliability.

Fast File Transfers

This card features read speeds of up to 300 MB/s and write speeds of up to 200 MB/s, with a minimum write speed of 90 MB/s for 8K and 4K video recording, plus continuous burst mode shooting.

Waterproof (IPX8) and Dustproof (IP6X)

Completely sealed with a monolithic structure, this card is waterproof (compliant to IPX8), meaning that recorded data is undamaged, even if the card is submerged in 16.4' / 5m of water for up to 72 hours. It is also dustproof (IP6X compliant) and resistant to X-rays (ISO7816-1).

Backward Compatible with UHS-I

While its highest performance is obtained using a UHS-II compatible camera, users can also use these cards in UHS-I compatible equipment, with reading speeds of up to 95 MB/s and write speeds of up to 90 MB/s.
